Showing or hiding yourself in the member list

Your data belongs to you. That’s why you decide whether you appear in your club’s member list and member search.

Not visible by default

For data protection reasons this option is switched off by default — nobody appears in the list without their explicit consent. So you have to switch it on actively if you want to be found.

How to make yourself visible

1. In the member portal, open Mein Profil (My profile).
2. Switch to the Einstellungen (Settings) tab.
3. In the Privatsphäre (Privacy) card, turn on the “In der Mitgliederliste des Vereins anzeigen” (Show in the club’s member list) switch.
4. Click Einstellungen speichern (Save settings).

From then on you appear in your club’s member list and member search. You can switch the option off again at any time — then you’re no longer visible immediately.

The setting applies per club: if you’re in several clubs, you decide for each one separately.

You’ll also find the setting in the apps for iPhone and Android under Profil → Einstellungen → Datenschutz (Profile → Settings → Privacy).
